Barry is an independent, financial advisor and Certified Financial Planner™ – as such, he helps investors of all types define and achieve their financial goals.

Barry takes a comprehensive approach to investing and wealth management. He sees his role as helping people and companies make well-informed decisions about their investments and financial plans – providing them with greater financial independence, peace of mind, and security. For him, guiding clients through complex financial decisions is rewarding work.

Barry is a veteran financial services executive and has been in the financial services industry since 1994. Prior to joining ZRC Wealth Management in 2014, he was the Founder and President of Elevation Wealth Management in Walnut Creek, California. Over his career, Barry has worked for companies that today collectively manage more than $1 trillion, including Charles Schwab & Co., Neuberger Berman and Franklin Templeton Investments.

Barry is a trusted advisor to a diverse group of investors and serves executives, attorneys, entrepreneurs, retirees, educators, professionals and others. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and is a past President of the Financial Planning Association of the East Bay chapter.

For nearly 11 years, he served on the board of the Cancer Support Community of the San Francisco Bay Area during which time he founded their endowment fund and chaired the Investment Committee. A native of Northern California, Barry graduated from Campolindo High School in Moraga and earned a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Barry and his wife Kristin have two young daughters they love riding bikes, skiing and traveling the world with.
